May 20, 2021 4:38PM. If you are leaning toward an PSA 9, but want the eye appeal of a PSA 10, then start by making sure the PSA 9 is dead centered. This is the biggest variable between low end and high end 9s. Then check for sharp corners as the next preferred attribute.
From an investment perspective the more valuable version (PSA 9 vs. PSA 10 vs. BG 10-black) today will typically be the more valuable version down the road (assuming appreciation overall) and the gap between them value wise will only grow over time IF the card appreciates. Consider this theoretical example:
